Bongbong ‘doing well’ after second bout with Covid

President Bongbong Marcos’ condition has improved after testing positive for Covid-19, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles said on 10 July.,He is “doing well” and has been working at home, actively giving out directives to his Cabinet while in isolation, said Angeles in a message to reporters.,On Saturday afternoon, 9 July, Marcos’ personal physician Samuel Zacate said Marcos was experiencing only mild symptoms with “no fever, no loss of taste and smell sensation.”,Zacate added Marcos’ throat was clear of any inflammation and there was “no sign of respiratory distress or pneumonia.”,This is Marcos’ second time to catch Covid-19 — the first was in March 2020.
