President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has signed Proclamation Number 2, declaring Saturday, 9 July 2022 as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha or Feast of Sacrifice.,‘Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam. Following the 1443 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has recommended that 09 July 2022, Saturday, be declared a national, in observance of Eid’l Adha,” Marcos said in his proclamation.,
