Every kid who’s ever dreamed of becoming a Marvel superhero is about to meet their kindred spirit in Kamala Khan when Ms. Marvel premieres June 8 on Disney+. The Pakistani-American teenager, played to wide-eyed perfection by newcomer Iman Vellani, is a comic book enthusiast who can’t wait to cosplay at AvengerCon until the day she gains the powers to become an Avenger herself.,The New Jersey native is one of the newest superheroes in Marvel’s Phase Four lineup, and she’s having her small screen debut in Ms. Marvel before landing in the MCU proper for 2023’s The Marvels. How would you say that they are different?,I feel like you’ve probably thought about this. Did Kamala survive the snap? What do you think?,A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel.
