IATF: Establishments under alert 1 may operate at full capacity 

The national pandemic task force has permitted all establishments in alert level 1 areas to operate at full capacity as long as proof of full vaccination is presented for indoor mass gatherings, according to Malacañang.,Firms should ensure that their employees and customers are all fully vaccinated against Covid-19, acting presidential spokesperson Secretary Martin Andanar said.,The announcement came after members of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) met on Saturday to discuss the guidelines that should be imposed in alert level 1 areas.,“Having said this, IATF allowed full 100 percent capacity under alert level 1, subject to presentation of proof of full vaccination before participating in mass gatherings or entry into indoor establishments,” Andanar said through a statement, citing the task force’s Resolution No. 168-E.,Before the new rule, the IATF ruled that private offices and government agencies under alert level 1 may operate at full capacity but should follow vaccination requirements for onsite work.,Public transport vehicles are also permitted to do the same, without the need for plastic dividers.,The IATF also allowed religious services, parties, wedding receptions, and the likes, as well as the operations of restaurants, barbershops, hair salons, gyms, and cinemas in said areas.,Well-fitted face masks shall be worn properly at all times, whether outdoors or in indoor private or public establishments, including in public transportation by land, air, or sea, except when eating and drinking, participating in team and individual sports in venues where ventilation standards can be maintained.,Most of the provinces and cities in the country have been placed under alert level 1, the most relaxed Covid-19 alert level., ,
