“Our Blues” is an omnibus-style drama set in Jeju Island that tells the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of a diverse array of characters. Lee Jung Eun stars as Jung Eun Hee, the owner of a fish store. Uhm Jung Hwa takes on the role of city girl Go Mi Ran.
Go Mi Ran and Jung Eun Hee are friends who couldn’t be any more different. Go Mi Ran, who grew up in affluence, took care of Jung Eun Hee in her family’s difficult circumstances, and the pair became the definition of loyalty. However, when Go Mi Ran came to Jeju out of the blue, Jung Eun Hee wasn’t 100 percent thrilled to see her. The viewers are absolutely hooked on the realistic pair of friends, who are going on an emotional roller coaster due to their misunderstandings.
The newly released stills show Go Mi Ran, Jung Eun Hee, and more at an alumni meeting. Jung Eun Hee will decide to hide her feelings and remain loyal to Go Mi Ran until she returns to Seoul. However, the production team hinted that there will be an incident where her hidden feelings will unknowingly burst out during the reunion.
The photos capture everyone enjoying the party, and Go Mi Ran and Jung Eun Hee even go on stage. However, Jung Eun Hee is soon pushed out of the picture, and she is spotted drinking bitterly by herself. In the meantime, Go Mi Ran is surrounded by their male classmates, who are practically worshiping their “Forever Queen.”
Things will really go downhill when Go Mi Ran gets into a fight with In Jeong (Jo Ah Ra), her junior classmate and the wife of Kim Myung Bo (Kim Kwang Kyu). Jung Eun Hee attempts to stop Go Mi Ran, stimulating curiosity about what happened. It is said that this incident will cause Go Mi Ran and Jung Eun Hee’s old conflict to rise to the surface.
The next episode of “Our Blues” will air on May 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
