Netflix has struck a deal for David Yates’ upcoming directorial feature 
Pain Hustlers starring Emily Blunt. It was announced early in May that Blunt would star in the project and that Yates, best known for his work on the final four
Harry Potter films, as well as the recent
Fantastic Beasts series, would helm the production. Written by Wells Tower,
Pain Hustlers has drawn comparisons to
American Hustle and
The Wolf of Wall Street and will follow Liza Drake, a high school dropout who quickly finds herself involved in a criminal conspiracy after landing a job with a pharmaceutical start-up in hopes of creating a better life for her and her daughter.,Now, according to
Deadline, Netflix is closing a $50 million deal for
Pain Hustlers that includes global rights.
