Vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. on 22 May announced he tested positive for Covid-19.,Galvez, also the head of the National Task Force against Covid-19, said in a statement he found out he is positive of the virus after undergoing a weekly RT-PCR test.,He said he’s experiencing mild symptoms and remains in high spirits.,“Members of my immediate family and I are fully vaccinated and have received a booster shot. All of us are under isolation,” he noted.,“I would like to inform the people whom I have come in contact with over the last five to seven days to have themselves tested and observe their health conditions,” he added.,“I encourage the unvaccinated to get the Covid-19 jab as soon as possible, and those eligible to take their first and second booster doses,” said Galvez.
