Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!

Note: #6 contains mentions of sexual abuse.

1. The Last Airbender (2010) — Rotten Tomatoes score: 5%

Paramount Pictures

What it’s about: “Follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must master all four elements and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom.”

Why they walked out: “My sister and I were SO excited, but the second they mispronounced Sokka’s name, we were done. I think we lasted maybe 10 minutes. Considering how bad the reviews were and later finding out that they also chose to mispronounce Aang’s name, we clearly made the right choice. Thankfully we went on student night, so we only spent $5.” —tudorgirl21

Warner Bros.

What it’s about: “A chaotic battle ensues between Jerry Mouse, who has taken refuge in the Royal Gate Hotel, and Tom Cat, who is hired to drive him away before the day of a big wedding arrives.”

The way that some of the animals could talk and that they weren’t hiding their anthropomorphic abilities was inconsistent with the established franchise. The moment one of the cats started to talk, I was out. The fact that thousands of people worked on this, looked at the final product, and said ‘yes’ is a disgrace.” —justchillman
